Smooth Rock Crystal spheres give these Victorian earrings their Pools of Light character, gathering bright reflections within their rounded contours. Twisted Silver wires curve around each sphere like the ribs of a miniature globe, leaving broad areas of the clear stone exposed between them. Small curled details gather beneath the cages, adding a decorative finish to the otherwise simple round drops.

The contrasting 9ct Gold French hooks connect to little Silver suspension rings above the spheres. This combination gives the pair a pleasing change of colour and texture: warm, plain Gold above, darker rope-like Silver around the stones, and the glossy curves of Rock Crystal at the centre.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 33.5mm long including hooks.
Each Rock Crystal sphere measures 12.5mm in diameter, weighing apporx. 14.00ct combined.
WEIGHT: 7.2g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 9ct Gold hooks, Rock Crystal (14.00ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The twisted Silver ribs retain their rope-like detail, with darker patina in the creases and around the curled lower fittings. The Rock Crystal spheres retain smooth rounded outlines. Fine surface marks are visible on the Gold hooks.
