Bands of pale light cross the rounded Chrysoberyl cabochons in these Cat's Eye cluster earrings, standing out against their honey-green colour. Each stone is encircled by a scalloped halo of Diamonds, whose smaller flashes contrast beautifully with the broad, luminous line through the centre.

The Diamonds total approximately 0.90ct, bringing a bright border to the domed cabochons. Fine beaded edges add another layer of detail around the clusters, while the open backs reveal the individual settings beneath.

Simple Gold hooks suspend the round clusters just below the ear, keeping the focus on the unusual centres. The combination of warm gemstone colour and crisp Diamond sparkle gives the pair a distinctive character without an elaborate drop structure.

Diamonds measure approximately 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.90ct combined.
WEIGHT: 4.8g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as Platinum, 18ct Gold hooks, Diamond (0.90ct), Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl (6.50ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Zustand

EXCELLENT: Both cabochons display a clear Cat's Eye band, and the scalloped Diamond surrounds retain their definition. The stones are all in lovely condition, with no chips or scuffs visible. Light wear is visible on the reverse metalwork and hooks from a conversion, which has been carried out well.
