A richly detailed Scottish thistle brooch that celebrates the romance of the Victorian era. Sculpted in Silver with deep, oxidised recesses to accentuate every curve and leaf, its centre holds a glorious, large Pink Quartz whose soft rosy hue glows against the intricate foliate surround.

This is a wonderfully wearable statement with a practical twist: fitted with a long pin and open C catch for secure wear, and a discreet soldered loop so it can also be worn as a pendant. A beautiful marriage of symbolism and craftsmanship, the thistle motifs frame the faceted Pink Quartz to perfection, estimated at approximately 21.50cts.

EXCELLENT: The Pink Quartz is bright with only light surface wear visible under magnification, with no eye-visible chips or cracks. The Silver shows gentle age-related patina with minor surface marks to the reverse; the thistle detailing remains crisp and secure. The pin, hinge and C catch are in good working order, with some solder traces around fittings typical of period construction.
