An opalescent dream in 9ct Gold, this Victorian necklace shimmers with a cascade of Natural Solid Opals totalling an impressive 17.80ct. Graduating oval cabochons lead the eye to a luminous pear-shaped terminal, each stone in an articulated setting that lets the colours dance with every movement—flashes of green, blue, pink and sunset orange glow beautifully against the warm Gold.

Large central Opal measures 20mm long x 9mm wide, weighing approx. 5.10ct.
Opals graduate from 6.5mm long x 5mm wide to 12mm long x 8.5mm wide, weighing approx. 12.70ct combined.
Total Opal weight is approx. 17.80ct.
Links are 1mm wide.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal (17.80ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
