A luminous Georgian fancy ring in rich 18ct Gold, arranged as a delicate horizontal cluster of two oval Opal cabochons alive with vivid blue‑green‑purple play‑of‑colour, punctuated by two petite Emerald accents. Each gem is secured in raised closed collets and framed by pretty granulated beadwork and scalloped bezels, while ribbed shoulders lend a tactile, period finish.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring face is 9mm wide x 15mm across.
Opals measure 6.5mm long x 3.5mm wide.
Emerald measures 1.5mm in diameter.
Ring band is 1.5mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 1.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Natural Solid Opal, Emerald.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Zustand

GOOD: Presented “as found”. The Opals and Emeralds are secure and bright with minor age‑consistent surface wear; the Gold shows light scratches and gentle patina to the recesses. There is a patch from a previous repair on the back of the ring; it remains a pretty and wearable dress piece but should be treated with care, and we do not recommend resizing.
