A circle of lustrous natural Pearls makes a beautiful frame for a cherished photograph. This Edwardian picture locket pairs its generous round window with the soft, peachy warmth of 15ct Yellow Gold, giving it a quietly romantic presence.

The Pearls are all original, and their subtle variations lend the border a particularly lovely character. Measuring 33.5mm wide, the locket makes a graceful focal point on a favourite chain. There is something irresistible about a jewel designed to put a treasured face at its centre.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 40.5mm long including jump ring.
Locket itself is 33.5mm in diameter.
Pearls measure 2mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 7.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as solid 15ct Gold, Natural Pearls.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Zustand

VERY GOOD: The original Pearls retain a lovely lustre, and the Gold has an attractive aged patina. Fine scratches and a subtle testing file mark remain on the reverse at approximately the two o'clock position; a light polish has softened the mark, although it is still visible when tilted in the light or examined closely. The Pearl border remains complete.
