A quintessential Edwardian lavalier, this 9ct Gold pendant unfurls in graceful foliate scrolls, bead accents and airy openwork. A pastel-pink Rose-De-France Amethyst sits at the heart, accented by two deeper purple Amethysts, while a lustrous faux Pearl drop lends an elegant finale. Seed Pearls pepper the design, including the original Pearl-set bail, adding a soft, romantic glow against the warm Gold.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 51mm long from top to bottom.
Pendant is 25mm wide.
Amethysts measure 6mm, 2.5mm and 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.90ct combined.
Seed Pearls graduate from 0.5mm to 1mm in diameter.
Faux Pearl drop measures 5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2.1g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Amethyst (0.90ct), Seed Pearls, Faux Pearl Drop.

STAMPS: 9CT; "H *" (*the beginning of a Maker's Mark).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: The Amethysts are bright and securely set with only light age-related wear visible under magnification. The delicate 9ct Gold openwork and Seed Pearls are intact and well-preserved with a gentle antique patina. The dropper has been replaced with a Faux Pearl; overall, this beautiful period piece has been well cared for and presents wonderfully.
