Twisted details bring such character to this substantial Victorian Albert chain. Long open links with decorative centres alternate with little round connectors, giving the Silver a wonderfully varied texture. The bright, weighty links look beautiful worn close around the neck.

Three dog clips and a removable T-bar make the fittings a feature in their own right. Dating to c.1899, this is a lovely piece for anyone who enjoys antique watch-chain details, whether worn simply or arranged with a favourite charm.

MEASUREMENTS: Chain measures 14" long; links measure 4.4mm wide.
T-bar measures 14mm long by 40.5mm wide.
Dog clip measures 25mm long by 8.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 29.6g

MATERIALS: Silver.

STAMPS: Lion passant on each link. Dog clips and T-bar bear LH & S maker's marks, lion passant and date letter Z for 1899.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
