A petite Edwardian egg locket, shimmering with luminous Blue guilloché Enamel and crowned by a crisply modelled double-headed eagle in low relief. The translucent Enamel dances over the engine-turned ground, giving that coveted silken moiré that catches the light beautifully, while the neat rope-detailed border and compact oval silhouette lend timeless poise.

Open the locket to reveal a surprise of Burnt Orange Enamel within—vivid, glossy and wonderfully preserved. Crafted in Silver with its original 14ct Gold bail, this little treasure closes with a satisfying click and wears with an elegant, heraldic presence. Inside there are no frames, keeping the interior clean and modern in feel.

Locket is 17mm wide, at widest point.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, 14ct Gold bail, Blue Guilloché Enamel, Burnt Orange Enamel (interior).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The Enamel is bright, glossy and intact with no losses or noticeable wear. The Silver shows only light surface wear with a lovely antique patina; the hinge and closure are secure and crisp, snapping shut with a satisfying click. Beautifully preserved and clearly well cared for throughout.
