Broad, glassy Garnet facets glow a delicious wine red in this Georgian jewel. A square centre gives the arrangement its distinctive shape, surrounded by rounded Garnets that build into a softly scalloped border. The warm 9ct Gold settings frame each stone beautifully.

Turn it over to discover the closed backs and brooch fitting, with a suspension ring offering a second way to wear it as a pendant. It is a wonderfully versatile antique, equally appealing at the neckline or pinned to a favourite jacket. Those flat-cut Garnets are the star of the show!

Round Garnets graduate from 3mm to 6mm in diameter.
Central Garnet measures 7.5mm long and 8.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 5.7g

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold.

GEMSTONES: Flat-Cut Garnets, 5.00ct combined.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
