Sumptuous and striking, this Art Deco continuous strand showcases natural, undyed Mother-of-Pearl in glowing shades of orange, butterscotch and pale cream, interspaced with sparkling faceted Rock Crystal rondelles. Each polished bead reveals gentle translucency and subtle banding for a wonderfully tactile, organic feel.

Often described as “Balamuti”, the palette is warm and inviting while the Rock Crystal lends crisp light between the glossy spheres. A chic Deco classic that can be worn long or doubled for effortless impact.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace length is 46" or 116.8cm long.
Mother-of-Pearl beads are approx. 9mm in diameter.
Rock Crystal rondelles are 4.5mm wide x 2mm deep.
WEIGHT: 125g.

MATERIALS: Mother-of-Pearl (natural, undyed), Rock Crystal.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The Mother-of-Pearl beads are glossy with minimal surface wear; a few show tiny nicks or pits and light wear at the drill holes under magnification. The faceted Rock Crystal spacers have occasional small edge chips visible on close inspection. The strand is secure and has been well cared for.
