Gracefully arcing like a sliver of moonlight, this Victorian 9ct Gold crescent pendant is set with a rhythmic line of Natural Sapphires and rose-cut Diamonds. The deep cobalt-blue Sapphires alternate with shimmering, antique Diamonds, creating a captivating play of colour and light along the elegant curve.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 50.5mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 7mm wide at the widest point.
Sapphires graduate from 3mm to 4.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 1.90ct combined.
Diamonds graduate from 1.5mm to 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.25ct combined.
WEIGHT: 3.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Natural Sapphire (1.90ct), Rose-Cut Diamond (0.25ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The Sapphires and rose-cut Diamonds are bright and securely set, with only light age-related facet wear and tiny abrasions visible under magnification. The Gold shows gentle surface wear and a soft antique patina, with the galleries crisp and well-preserved. A small area of old solder is visible within the inner gallery on close inspection; no movement of stones and no other issues noted.
