An ornate wreath of leaves and curling flourishes surrounds the blank cartouche of this charming Edwardian locket. Its softly rounded shape catches the light across the engraved 9ct Gold back and front, with a different, densely patterned design waiting on the reverse.

Just 19mm wide, this is a lovely little keepsake to wear close. It opens to reveal one surviving picture frame and closes with a satisfying click, ready to become part of another chapter. The unengraved centre lets you enjoy the decoration just as it is.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 25.5mm long including jump ring.
Locket itself is 19mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 1.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back and front, metal frames & hinge for strength & durability, 9ct Gold jump ring.

STAMPS: 9CT BACK&FRONT.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: The engraved decoration remains clear on both sides of the locket. Surface scratches and wear are visible inside, and one picture frame survives. The locket closes with a satisfying click.
