A classic Victorian cluster ring with a vivid royal blue round Sapphire at its heart, encircled by a delicate scalloped halo of sparkling Diamonds. The centre is secured in a fine, millegrain bezel, with an open under-gallery that lends lightness and grace to the design.

Sapphire measures 5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.45ct.
Diamonds are 1.5mm in diameter each, weighing approx. 0.20ct combined.
Ring band is 1mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 1.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Natural Sapphire (0.45ct), Diamonds (0.20ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Sapphire is bright with only minor surface wear visible under magnification, and all Diamonds are present and sparkling. The setting and slim shank show light surface marks commensurate with age and retain a pleasing antique patina. No obvious signs of later resizing; the ring has been well cared for.
