A graduated row of five Old Mine-Cut Diamonds stretches across this Edwardian ring, with a combined weight of approximately 0.95ct. The stones have gently varied outlines and broad flashes of light, with the largest at the centre and smaller Diamonds stepping down towards the shoulders.

Platinum settings create a pale, sparkling line above the warm 18ct Gold band. Viewed from the side, the open gallery reveals an intricate rhythm of arches beneath the stones, with pierced shoulder details connecting the head to the slender shank. There is as much to enjoy in the construction as in the generous spread of Diamonds.

MEASUREMENTS: Diamonds span approximately 16mm across the top of the band.
Ring tapers from 4mm wide at the front to 1.5mm wide at the back.
Diamonds graduate approximately 3mm, 3.8mm, 4mm, 3.7mm and 3mm in diameter, weighing approximately 0.95ct combined.
WEIGHT: 2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Platinum, Old Mine Cut Diamond (0.95ct).

STAMPS: Faint 18CT.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: The Diamonds retain a bright, lively appearance, and the open gallery detail is clearly visible. A previous resize can be seen on the band, which also shows surface wear.
