Purple Amethyst and apple-green Peridot bring two vivid notes of colour to this Edwardian 15ct Gold pendant, softened by the creamy lustre of dainty Seed Pearls. The round Amethyst sits at the heart of a symmetrical arrangement of curling scrolls and small pointed leaves; below, an oval Peridot hangs from a tiny connecting ring. The purple, green and white palette gives the piece its Suffragette colour palette.

Rows of graduated Pearls follow the sweeping outer curves and the heart-shaped arch above the central stone, with individual Pearls marking the ends of slender stems. A Pearl-set bail carries the decoration upwards, while fine beaded rims outline the two faceted gemstones.

Pendant measures 32.5mm wide.
Amethyst measures 5.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.60ct.
Peridot measures 7mm long x 5.5mm wide, weighing approx. 0.73ct.
Pearls graduate from 1mm to 2.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 5.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Amethyst (0.60ct), Peridot (0.73ct), Pearl.

STAMPS: 15CT on the reverse.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

The Gold remains bright, with fine surface marks visible on the reverse and well-defined beaded borders around the gemstones.
