A lyrical Art Nouveau jewel, this c.1890 drop pendant unfurls in lacy openwork scrolls edged with delicate milgrain. The articulated silhouette culminates in a graceful pear drop, giving beautiful movement and that romantic girandole feel.

Verdant Peridots (approx. 1.60ct combined) take centre stage, their fresh green glow enhanced by twinkling Diamond accents (approx. 0.45ct combined) and a scattering of luminous seed Pearls. Crafted in 9ct Gold and cleverly convertible, it can be worn as either a pendant or a brooch—timeless elegance with versatile charm.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 50mm long inc. jump ring.
x 30.5mm wide at widest point.
Peridots graduate from 9mm long x 5.5mm wide to 8.5mm long x 5mm wide, weighing approx. 1.60ct combined.
Diamonds graduate from 1.5 to 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.45ct combined.
Pearls measure 2.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Peridot (1.60ct), Diamond (0.45ct), Pearl

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

The openwork and settings are crisp with lovely definition, and the articulated drop moves freely.
