Each drop showcases a large, domed oval Garnet cabochon encircled by a single halo of vibrant deep-red rose-cut Garnets, all set in hand-worked Garnet Gold with beautifully aged patina. The bold rosette silhouette and luscious cherry hues create an opulent, old-world glow that flatters and captivates.

Beautifully made with lever-back fittings in 18ct Gold for comfort and security, these earrings offer impressive Garnet presence of approximately 9.20ct per earring (including an approx. 7.00ct central cabochon). A timeless statement of Victorian elegance, their closed, scalloped collets lend wonderful texture and antique charm.

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 24.5mm long including hooks.
Earrings are 19mm wide.
Central Garnet cabochons measure 15mm long x 12mm wide, weighing approx. 7.00ct per earring.
Rose-cut Garnets measure 4mm in diameter, weighing approx. 2.20ct per earring.
Total Garnet weight is approx. 18.40ct combined.
WEIGHT: 10.5g (pair).

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold hooks, Garnet Gold settings, Garnet (18.40ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: Garnets are bright and well-matched, with some dings and light surface abrasions to the cabochons and minor age-related facet wear to a few halo stones under magnification. Gold settings are secure with an attractive, even patina and light wear consistent with age; lever backs function well. Hand-crafted joins and historic solder are in keeping with period manufacture; no obvious later replacements.
