A chic Victorian Amethyst necklace crafted in glowing 9ct Gold. Two beautifully matched oval Amethysts are secured in elegant four-prong settings, their clear, vibrant purple catching the light with every movement. Together they weigh approximately 10.50ct, a sumptuous splash of colour tempered by the warmth of antique Gold.

2 x Amethysts measure 12mm long x 10mm wide, weighing approx. 10.50ct combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Amethyst (10.50ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: Amethysts are bright with crisp facets; under close inspection, a minute facet abrasion to one stone may be seen, not eye-visible. The 9ct Gold settings and chain are clean and highly polished with light surface wear commensurate with age; prongs are secure and well-formed. The later added bolt ring is secure.
