A magnificent Victorian Diamond starburst, richly detailed and alive with scintillation. Crafted in Gold with Sterling Silver settings, its ornate openwork rosette radiates foliate and scroll motifs, edged with fine millegrain and pavé and collet settings for that delicious, lace-like sparkle. Antique old mine-cut Diamonds totalling approximately 1.50ct catch the light beautifully, crowned by a larger centre stone for a compelling focal point.

Wonderfully versatile, it retains its original Diamond-set bail and comes with fully detachable screw-back brooch fittings, so you can switch between a striking pendant or an elegant brooch in an instant. A true Victorian jewel with timeless glamour and superb craftsmanship.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 41.5mm long. including Diamond-set bail.
Pendant itself is 32mm diameter.
Central Old Mine cut Diamond measures 4.8mm, weighing approx. 0.45ct.
6 x Diamonds measure 1.5mm each, weighing approx. 0.06ct combined.
6 x Diamonds measure 2.3mm each, weighing approx. 0.30ct combined.
24 x Diamonds measure 2mm each, weighing approx. 0.72ct combined.
3 x small accent Diamonds set into the bail.
Total Diamond weight is approx. 1.50ct
WEIGHT: 14.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as —ct Gold, Sterling Silver settings, Antique Old Mine cut Diamonds (1.50ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The Diamonds are all natural, original antique, bright and well-set with no chips, cracks or nicks. The settings and intricate openwork are crisp with only light, age-related surface wear, and the original Diamond-set bail is secure. The removable screw-back brooch mechanism works perfectly, allowing the piece to convert easily between brooch and pendant.
